Privacy Policy

This policy covers visitors to our marketing site, people who create workspace accounts, partners invited to portals, and customers who pay merchants through Splitstream-hosted checkout.

Account & business data. Name, email, password (stored hashed), business name, and settings you configure in the dashboard.

Payment & vault data. Public wallet addresses, invoice and payment details, payroll and affiliate program configuration, and transaction metadata needed to operate the service. Vault seed material is encrypted at rest and is not shown in the product UI.

Affiliate tracking. Click and conversion events (including referrer, landing path, and timestamps), partner codes, and order identifiers merchants send via postback or pixel.

Technical data. IP address (often hashed for attribution), browser type, device information, and cookies or similar storage used for login sessions and affiliate attribution.

• Process payments, splits, payroll, and affiliate commissions
• Attribute affiliate clicks and sales for merchants
• Send transactional notices (security, payouts, approvals)
• Detect fraud, abuse, and technical issues
• Meet legal and compliance obligations where required

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, databases, email) that process data on our instructions
• Blockchain networks, which are public by design when transactions are broadcast
• Merchants and partners, limited to what each role needs (for example, a partner portal shows that partner’s own stats)
• Authorities when required by law

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your workspace is active and as needed for security, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. You may request deletion of account data subject to records we must retain.

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, encrypted custodial vault material, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password and protect your login.

You can update profile details in Settings, close cookies that are not essential (see our Cookie Policy), and contact us to request access or deletion where applicable. Affiliate first-party storage on a merchant’s site is controlled by that merchant’s own policies.

We may process data in countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Splitstream is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
